Reema Sampat is an Indian-American actress originally from Houston, Texas. She currently stars as Asha on the ABC single-camera comedy pilot The Son in Law opposite Chris Sullivan (This Is Us), written and Executive Produced by Ajay Sahgal (The Carmichael Show), Executive Produced by Jake Kasdan and Melvin Mar (Fresh Off the Boat), Directed by Natalia Anderson (Black-ish).

Other credits include Orange is the New Black (Netflix), Shades of Blue (NBC), Marvel’s Jessica Jones (Netflix), the upcoming independent feature The Man Behind the Camera (starring Matthew Lawrence), The Pretenders (starring Jane Levy, directed by James Franco), and Blood Surf (starring Lorelei Linklater).

In addition to acting, Reema is a producer and philanthropist who actively advocates for better representation in the arts. She also established Save a Gato, a non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare and care of the cats of Old San Juan, Puerto Rico.
